Anish and Anita Arora

California

While approaching new people comes naturally to Anish and Anita Arora, they do appreciate having great product to sell, the support of a strong network, and a Corporation with a reputation for being the best.

Anish says, “The mix of product merchandising tools, educational materials, and motivational support gives us everything we need to sell product and encourage others to do the same. The system’s in place – it’s up to us to pull it together.”

Early in their marriage, Anita decided to give up a career in medicine in favor building their AMWAY™ business and being an at home mom for Ayush, 8, and Anand, 2.

The couple likes the idea of working product sales and phone calls around their kids’ activities, including school, play dates, zoo visits, and art projects. Anish, who’s still employed as a computer engineer, looks forward to reaching Diamond, then they’ll start planning how he’ll join his wife full time.

Anita’s loves retailing NUTRILITE® vitamins, minerals, and supplements and  ARTISTRY® beauty products. She says, “Our customers love the products and service – we love the PV.”

Anish and Anita have seen how advertising has increased brand awareness in India. Anita comments, “The new advertising campaigns here in the U.S. helps create awareness and makes selling products even easier!”

The average monthly gross income earned by “active” IBOs was $115 (U.S.)/$181 (CAN.).

The percentage of IBOs who achieved Double Diamond and above qualification in FY08 was .0038%.

Based on an independent survey during 2001, approximately 66% of all IBOs of record were found to be active. “Active” means an IBO attempted to make a retail sale, or presented the Amway Independent Business Owner Compensation Plan, or received bonus money, or attended a company or IBO meeting in the year 2000.

“Gross Income” means the amount received from retail sales, minus the cost of goods sold, plus the amount of Performance Bonus retained. There may be significant business expenses, mostly discretionary, that may be greater in relation to income in the first years of operation. The success depicted may reflect income and investments outside the IBO Plan.
