“We want to be constantly growing” - Once upon a time, Francisco Baez traveled throughout the Dominican Republic creating magic. “I taught theater for a decade,” he explains. “I loved it, working with people, inspiring them, building something bigger than the sum of our individual beings. But the pay was an issue.”

Eventually, Francisco started an office supply company with the help of his wife and secretary, Carmen. “We were doing fine economically,” he says. “We had a house, vehicles. The only thing we didn’t have was time.”

Then they learned about the Amway™ business opportunity. Carmen saw a means of gaining back time to spend with their boys, Wendell (13) and Wilmer (10). Francisco saw a chance “to get back to what I really enjoyed doing: working with people,” and motivating them to work together to achieve their dreams. “Here we have everything,” he says from the perspective Emerald affords.

One of the greatest lessons they learned as they grew from Platinum to Emerald was the value of investing in people’s lives. “We create friendships that extend beyond the business,” Francisco says. “When you’re friends, you share a trust and can talk about everything. People will stay [and build the business] despite the challenges because of the friendships and the environment the business creates.”

Francisco and Carmen have become so enamored with the principles they’ve learned through their Amway business that they want to contribute to society by helping more people know those principles. “Our business has transformed us for the better!” she says.

“Our next goal is to go Diamond … [and] the mental growth that comes with it,” he adds. “We want to be constantly growing.”

Growing, motivating, inspiring, and creating. Thanks to Amway, now all the world really is their stage and life’s a smashing success!
