Longsheng Lei and Fu Hua Wang
Originally from China, Longsheng Lei worked his way up the corporate ladder through various positions in the automotive, banking, real estate, and hospitality industries. His work ethic and leadership skills were rewarded with a comfortable lifestyle and many opportunities to travel. But he was hungry for more.
“I thrive on the satisfaction of reaching a big goal,” he says.
Working with an investment lawyer, Longsheng and his wife, Fu Hua, bought an almond farm in California. Just prior to moving here, Longsheng learned about the AMWAY™ business opportunity and began researching it in earnest.
“I learned it’s a huge business with big potential,” he says. “I was impressed by the quality of the products as well as the company’s longevity and reputation.”
However, he had two obstacles to overcome: a language barrier and the fact that he knew no one – other than his lawyer – in the United States.
Not one to be easily deterred, Longsheng learned everything he could about the AMWAY business. He also accepted advice and help from his upline. Finally, he asked his lawyer to put him in touch with other Chinese immigrants.
“I’ve always had big dreams, and I’m persistent. I knew we could find even greater success in an AMWAY business than in conventional business,” he says.
Fu Hua, a homemaker whose two sons are in college, has found the networking aspect of their business invigorating. “It’s so easy to share the products and business opportunity with anybody!” she says. Longsheng and Fu Hua have their sights set on Crown Ambassador. “Our goal is to be the No. 1 organization in the United States,” he says. Their sons are also pursuing AMWAY businesses of their own. “This business is so family-oriented! It’s definitely changed our lives for the better,” Longsheng believes.
