Martha and Jairo López
A future filled with abundance – Have you heard? Amway is going to have a new pin level before long: Intercontinental Triple Founders Crown Ambassador.
At least, that’s what Jairo López would like to name it. But he’s serious about doing whatever it takes to earn it.
He and Martha are “beginning to understand that, with our Amway™ business, there are great possibilities of having a successful life” on all levels.
“We were tired of working and working just to pay the bills,” she says. Martha worked in day care; Jairo drove a truck.
When they learned about the Amway business opportunity, it was like entering a new world. It took time to explore and get their bearings.
“All of us have something we struggle with because each temperament is different,” Jairo says. “I’m a sanguine personality, so I’m very sociable and make a lot of jokes. Sometimes this presents a challenge. People may not trust me. I also have a hard time sitting down to read. So I’ve had to learn to discipline myself so that I can grow and change.”
“We are two totally different people today!” Martha agrees. “My biggest challenge has been learning to communicate well and control my temper. I surprise myself sometimes!” she says, referring to her increasing patience.
Both credit their team’s training system with helping them succeed in their business. They’ve left their jobs and are paying down their debt. From where they stand, they see a future filled with abundance.
“Travel is my passion, and I want to travel with my family (children Erika and John Alexander, and granddaughter Katherine),” she says. Trips to Peter Island, Paris, Venice, and Argentina are on their “billboard of dreams.”
And that pin? Don’t count it out, Martha says. “You’re going to keep hearing about us because we’re just getting started!”
