Mixed with business panel discussions were performances by the top 4 IBO Talent Show finalists. Scott Bloom, MC for the Business Meeting, said he felt like he was part of a professional production. The performances by Aura Andrews (violin), Diane Blacquiere (vocal), Nelly Nunez (vocal), and Lilia Sixtos (vocal) were outstanding. When the final voting was tallied from the audience and independent judges, Diane Blacquiere was crowned as the first IBO Talent Show Winner and received a check for $10,000! The other 3 winners each received $5,000.
Amway Hero Award winners were announced at the Business Meeting. Videos introduced each Hero in the categories of Leadership- Valeriy Solodyankin, Generosity – Beverly Sallee Ophoff, Determination – Josh Kennison, and Patriotism – Jeremy Wodjan. The playing of each Hero video was met with tears of appreciation for each Hero’s contribution and standing ovations. At the end of the Business Meeting Sandy Spielmaker offered each Hero an additional surprise, a check for $10,000 each.
IBOs left the Business Meeting with renewed inspiration for their business, the company, and their fellow IBOs.
